ABOUT MATI-X

MATI-X is a vibe that means community. We are first and foremost community and service driven. Secondly, we are zero waste in everything we do. Third, we are made up of entrepreneurs or those wanting to be or have the entrepreneurial spirit. We focus on those 18 and up and those aging out of the foster care system. We define zero waste through our Flourish to Nourish program where we source nutritionally valued food and deliver it to community partners who are doing food distributions. We collect, sort, and deliver to the community what can go out and compost what cannot. We provide mentorship into sustainable business ownership through our 12-week cohort, where we teach students about business and provide a platform for them to run that business. They receive a MATI-X leadership certification and a Dallas City Green Business Certification.
